Entrance Procedure for the Hermitage Friends’ Card Holders

• Access to the Main Museum Complex for the members of the Hermitage Friends' Club is organized via the Komendatsky Entrance to the Winter Palace.

• Access to the General Staff Building for the members of the Hermitage Friends' Club is organized via the main visitor entrance and in the same line for the current time slot, observing social distance.

• To visit the exhibitions, members of the Hermitage Friends Club call (812) 710 90 05 or send an email to hermitage.friends@hermitage.ru (Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 18.00) to book in advance, no later than one day before the planned date of their visit, a specific time slot within the working hours of the museum complex.

Museum working hours:

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm (last admission at 5.00 pm)

Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11.00 am to 8.00 pm (last admission at 6.00 pm)

Admissions every half hour, with a sanitary break from 15.00 to 16.00. The maximum number of Friends per one-time slot is 20 persons.

• Hermitage Friends (and their guests, according to membership category) enter the Main Museum Complex through the Komendatsky Entrance to the Winter Palace, present a valid Friends’ card to the administrator, scan its barcode at the turnstile as many times as necessary for entering all guests, and go to the exhibitions through the ground floor: Rastrelli gallery; Jordan staircase; Fixed Route #1. They can switch to the Fixed Route #2 (starting in the direction of the Church Staircase) in the Eastern corridor of the Winter Palace, upon presenting the Friends’ card to the Hermitage staff.

• Entrance to the General Staff Building is organized in the general line for the current time slot. Access to the exhibitions is through the turnstiles, by scanning the barcode of the personal Friends’ card as many times as necessary for entering all guests.

• Visitors may enter the display area of the Main Museum Complex and the General Staff Building no later than 45 minutes after the start of their time slot. Each time slot is a period of 2 hours from the starting time.

• Visiting The Winter Palace of Peter the Great, the Menshikov Palace, the Museum of the Imperial Porcelain Factory, and the Staraya Derevnya Restoration and Storage Center for the Friends is only possible on a general basis, upon purchasing a ticket at full cost on the museum website https://tickets.hermitagemuseum.org/en. Tickets can only be purchased online for certain time slots and fixed routes.

• Visiting the Gold Room for the Friends is also possible only through purchasing a ticket at full cost on the museum website.

• All visitors must wear personal protection and maintain social distance. Persons over 65 are advised to temporarily refrain from visiting the museum complex.
