Evening for Corporative Members of the Hermitage Friends’ Club

On 8 December 2021, during the Hermitage Days, the traditional evening for Corporate Friends of the Hermitage was held.

The occasion began with a video address from Mikhail Borisovich Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage, who welcomed those attending and spoke about the museum’s main events and projects in 2021.

The guests then visited the newly opened exhibition “Albrecht Dürer. 550th Anniversary of the Artist’s Birth”. This year, musicAeterna became the musical partner of the exhibition and also a Friend of the Hermitage. In the Armorial Hall of the Winter Palace, the guests were entertained by 15th- and 16th-century music wonderfully performed by the musicAeterna choir conducted by its Chief Choirmaster Vitaly Polonsky in a programme entitled “An Offering to Dürer”.

At the end of the evening, guests were presented with Honorary Diplomas as sponsors and patrons of the State Hermitage.

The gathering took place with observance of all the pandemic-related rules and restrictions.
