Evening for Corporative Friends of the Hermitage

On 7 December 2022, during the Hermitage Days, the traditional event for corporate members of the Hermitage Friends’ Club was held in the Winter Palace.

The evening began with a special guided tour of the museum halls during which the guests could see the paintings and sculptures restored thanks to support from the Hermitage’s sponsors and patrons.

The programme continued in the Hermitage Theatre. Mikhail Borisovich Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage, greeted those attending and spoke about the museum’s main events and projects in 2022. Guests were presented with Honorary Certificates of Sponsors and Patrons of the State Hermitage and Friends’ Club membership cards. In conclusion, they were entertained with pieces of 15th–20th-century music performed by the musicAeterna choir conducted by its chief choirmaster, Vitaly Polonsky.
