Cultured Isolation
The Hermitage has temporarily stopped receiving visitors, but that does not mean that the museum is not living a full life. We are continuing our efforts to do everything possible to avoid separating our visitors from the collections of one of the world’s greatest museums.
Right now, we are preparing a large quantity of broadcasts that you can view on our YouTube and Instagram channels. So far they are only in Russian, but in the near future we will begin broadcasting in other languages too – English, Italian and more. Follow the updates on our social network pages and on the Hermitage’s official website.
Besides that, we strongly suggest you watch the film The Hermitage Shot on an iPhone 11 Pro – it is an unhurried thoughtful stroll around the museum lasting over five hours.
